My Journey Naturals was founded by Wendy Hennessey, a holistic wellness guide and entrepreneur devoted to helping people reconnect with nature and care for themselves in deeply nourishing ways.

Born in Haiti and raised in the United States, her journey is rooted in resilience, self-belief, and a deep connection to her cultural heritage.

Before becoming a founder, Wendy earned her Master’s Degree in Health Administration and built a career in hospital management and patient advocacy. Through this work, she gained a profound understanding of how stress, lifestyle, and environment shape our overall well-being and longevity.

But her journey was also deeply personal.

For years, she struggled with eczema, psoriasis, dryness, breakage, and scalp irritation. Often finding that “clean” labeled products failed to deliver real results. As a natural hair influencer and model since 2014, she tested hundreds of products, yet nothing truly supported her hair and skin the way she needed.

So she returned to her roots.

By embracing natural, intentional living and incorporating time-honored ingredients from her Haitian heritage, like castor oil, everything began to shift. Her hair and skin became stronger, more hydrated, and began to thrive in ways it never had before.

That transformation became the foundation of My Journey Naturals.

Launched in 2024, My Journey Naturals is a refined approach to care where quality, simplicity, and experience meet.
